Job 1<\/p>\n
1. Satan Among the Saints. \u201cSatan came also among them\u201d (Job_1:6). He is a regular attendant when God\u2019s people meet together.<\/p>\n
2. Jehovah\u2019s Question. \u201cSatan, whence comest thou?\u201d (Job_1:7). Sometimes he has a \u201cseat\u201d and a synagogue\u2014Rev_2:9, Rev_2:24.<\/p>\n
3. Satan\u2019s Reply to Jehovah. \u201cSatan answered, From going to and fro in the earth\u201d (Job_1:7) (1Pe_5:8).<\/p>\n
4. Jehovah\u2019s Inquiry about Job. \u201cHast thou considered My servant Job\u201d (Job_1:8). The Lord appreciates what He sees in Job.<\/p>\n
5. Satan\u2019s Insinuation. \u201cSatan… said, Doth Job fear God for nought?\u201d (Job_1:9). Being Job\u2019s adversary, he accuses him to God.<\/p>\n
6. Jehovah\u2019s Permission. \u201cThe Lord said unto Satan, All that he hath is in thy power\u201d (Job_1:12). We consider the \u201cend of the Lord\u201d in this permission\u2014Jas_5:11.<\/p>\n
7. Satan\u2019s Going Forth from the presence of the Lord to afflict Job\u2014Job_1:12.<\/p>\n
