Satan has many devices, designs, and doings to accomplish his fell purposes.<\/p>\n
1. He provokes to wrong action, as seen in David\u20141Ch_21:1.<\/p>\n
2. He resists the grace of God, as illustrated in Joshua\u2014Zec_3:1.<\/p>\n
3. He tempts to gain advantage, as manifest in Christ\u2014Mat_4:10.<\/p>\n
4. He takes away the seed of God\u2019s Word, as taught in the parable of the sower\u2014Luk_8:12.<\/p>\n
5. He desires to have us, to sift, as stated by Christ to Peter\u2014Luk_22:31.<\/p>\n
6. He transforms himself into an angel of light to lead us astray, as warned by Paul\u20142Co_11:14.<\/p>\n
7. He incites to sin, that he may get us under his power, as unfolded by John\u20141Jn_3:8.<\/p>\n
