726. Sea of Crystal<\/p>\n
George Fox, in writing of one of his experiences, said: \u201cI saw a sea of ink and a sea of crystal, and the sea of crystal swept away the sea of ink.\u201d The above quotation suggests what the Gospel of God\u2019s grace does in the lives of those who believe in Christ, for, as in the Millennium, there will be an effective living water current which will wash out the Dead Sea, and make it a living stream\u2014Ezekiel 47.<\/p>\n
1. So the Gospel in the cleansing of the precious Blood of Christ removes the foulness of sin\u20141Jn_1:7.<\/p>\n
2. The water of life quenches the fire of unholy passion\u2014Joh_4:14.<\/p>\n
3. The love of God supplants the desire to sin\u20142Co_5:14-17.<\/p>\n
4. The power of Christ conquers the dominance of evil\u2014Rom_6:14.<\/p>\n
5. The holiness of the Lord electrifies to wholehearted devotion to Him\u2014Php_4:12-13, and thus annuls the failure of self-effort.<\/p>\n
6. The presence of Christ destroys all fear of man and Devil, for His grace is sufficient\u20142Co_12:9.<\/p>\n
7. The Coming of Christ drives all impurity away, for it is the soul\u2019s ambition, when looking for Him, to be ripe and ready, and thus to have His approval\u20141Jn_3:2, 1Jn_3:3.<\/p>\n
