1. Redeemed Shoulders. \u201cUpon their shoulders\u201d (Exo_12:34).<\/p>\n
2. Representative Shoulders. \u201cStones upon the shoulders\u201d etc. (Exo_28:12).<\/p>\n
3. Upholding Shoulders. \u201cHe shall dwell between His shoulders\u201d (Deu_33:12).<\/p>\n
4. Strong Shoulders. \u201cHe put them upon his shoulders\u201d (Jdg_16:3).<\/p>\n
5. Responsible Shoulders. \u201cThey bare it upon their shoulders\u201d (Num_7:9).<\/p>\n
6. Saving Shoulders. \u201cHe layeth it on His shoulders\u201d (Luk_15:5).<\/p>\n
7. Governing Shoulder. \u201cThe government shall be upon His shoulder\u201d (Isa_9:6).<\/p>\n
The Lord only needs one shoulder for the government of the world, but He needs both shoulders when He brings home a lost sinner. Note the contrast in the last two Scriptures. The shoulder is a symbol of strength.<\/p>\n
