In 1 Corinthians 1<\/p>\n
1. The Will of God\u20141Co_1:1. God\u2019s will is revealed in God\u2019s Word, and we know it experimentally as we walk in His ways.<\/p>\n
2. The Church of God\u20141Co_1:2. Some affirm, \u201cIt is the Church which makes Christians,\u201d but God\u2019s truth declares, \u201cIt is the Christians (Christ\u2019s own) which make the Church.\u201d<\/p>\n
3. The Grace of God\u20141Co_1:4. Grace stands for favour, strength, and beauty\u2014God\u2019s favour towards us, Christ\u2019s strength in us, and the Spirit\u2019s beauty upon us.<\/p>\n
4. The Power of God\u20141Co_1:18. God\u2019s power comes in several ways. The Blood has power to cleanse, the Word has power to assure, His love has power to constrain, His peace has power to keep, His joy has power to gladden, His grace has power to enable, and the Spirit is the power of all power.<\/p>\n
5. The Wisdom of God\u20141Co_1:21. Wisdom is the right application of knowledge. The Lord knows how to apply His blessings to us. He tempers His blessings to each temperament, and displays His wisdom especially in the Cross of His Son.<\/p>\n
6. The Foolishness of God\u20141Co_1:25. God could not be foolish in a positive sense, but comparatively it is so, for what seems foolish in the eyes of foolish men turns out to be the greatest and profoundest wisdom.<\/p>\n
7. The Weakness of God\u20141Co_1:25. There is more strength in God\u2019s little finger than in all the combined hands of men.<\/p>\n
