1. A Consecrated Saint. Abraham \u201cwent out\u201d at the Lord\u2019s bidding, and thus found the Lord\u2019s blessing\u2014Heb_11:8.<\/p>\n
2. A Compassionate Saviour. \u201cHe went about doing good\u201d (Act_10:38). The love of His heart moved His hands to labour.<\/p>\n
3. A Converted Sinner. \u201cHe went on his way rejoicing\u201d (Act_8:39). Being saved by the Lord makes us glad in Him.<\/p>\n
4. A Concentrated Company. \u201cThey went up into an upper room… continued with one accord in prayer\u201d (Act_1:13-14). The unity of their fervent prayer brought them the fusing of the Spirit\u2019s power.<\/p>\n
5. A Conservative Party. \u201cThey went to their own company\u201d (Act_4:23). Being centralised in Christ, they loved to be with Christ\u2019s.<\/p>\n
6. A Living Testimony. \u201cWent forth before them all\u201d (Mar_2:12). Christ\u2019s work proves the Christ who works.<\/p>\n
7. A Needed Rest. \u201cWent aside privately into a desert place\u201d (Luk_9:10; compare with Mar_6:31). The bustle of service must be balanced by communion.<\/p>\n
