991. Workers\u2019 Equipment<\/p>\n
If we keep along God\u2019s lines, we shall obtain His power.<\/p>\n
1. One Authority. The Authority for the worker is the Word of God. The Spirit\u2019s mandate is \u201cPreach the Word\u201d (2Ti_4:2), then we are sure of the Spirit\u2019s application\u2014Act_10:44.<\/p>\n
2. One Resource. The Spirit is our Source and Supply. When we are \u201cendued with power from on high\u201d (Luk_24:49; Act_2:4), then we are effective, because He is\u20141Pe_1:12.<\/p>\n
3. One Inspiration. \u201cLove of Christ constraineth\u201d (2Co_5:14). When we are melted and moved by this love, we move and melt others.<\/p>\n
4. One Aim. To be \u201cwell-pleasing unto the Lord\u201d (2Co_5:9, R.V.). When the attitude of our heart is right with the Lord, we shall aim to please Him.<\/p>\n
5. One Principle. \u201cServing the Lord\u201d (Rom_12:11); and acting \u201cin\u201d Him, then service can never be \u201cin vain\u201d (1Co_15:58).<\/p>\n
6. One Condition. \u201cFollow Me and I will make you fishers of men\u201d (Mat_4:19). Follow to fish, and be made to catch.<\/p>\n
7. One End. \u201cThe glory of God.\u201d \u201cAll in Christ, by the Holy Spirit, for the glory of God, all else is nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n
