Scripture: Matthew 1:18\u201325<\/strong><\/p>\n

As we continue through this season of Advent, we know it\u2019s not only a season of anticipation, preparation, and joy, we know that Christ came, and He\u2019s coming again<\/em>. Today we\u2019ll do well to reflect on that immutable truth.<\/p>\n

We know Jesus grew up under the scandal of Mary\u2019s alleged sexual immorality, which only increased with growing accusations and insults until our Savior made the painstaking trek to the cross.<\/p>\n

We miss out on the grandeur of the Christmas story when we don\u2019t remember Good Friday and Easter. Likewise, we miss out on the grandeur of Good Friday and Easter when we don\u2019t remember He\u2019s coming again.<\/p>\n

No, His death and resurrection were a work of indescribable redemption that grows louder and brighter until His return.<\/p>\n

Until that Great Day, we have work to do.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As you put the finishing touches on the next few days, take a moment to consider who in your circle of influence hasn\u2019t come to Jesus for forgiveness. We see at the beginning of Matthew\u2019s Gospel an announcement that Jesus is Immanuel.<\/p>\n

Guess what? Matthew’s Gospel ends with the same assertion and promise: I am with you always.<\/em><\/p>\n

If Jesus is with you, you\u2019re called to be His ambassador.<\/p>\n
