Is the church ready for Generation Z? Maina Mwaura sat down with some members of the generation and many don’t believe the church is prepared.<\/p>\n

They describe their generation as diverse, independent, creative, open-minded and accepting.<\/p>\n

But say they constantly struggling with anxiety and have a deserved reputation for a lack of work ethic.<\/p>\n

Hear Gen Zers share their approach to truth and who influences their generation.<\/p>\n

Most of them say \u201c100 percent\u201d of their friends support same-sex marriage.<\/p>\n

Despite their frequent use of social media, they have a fear of \u201cgoing viral.\u201d<\/p>\n

One panelist said, \u201cOne dumb decision you make now could affect you for the rest of your life\u2014because it doesn’t go away.\u201d<\/p>\n

As far as advice for the church, one member of the panel says congregations are a \u201cplace of refuge for the Christian and those who regularly attend church, but there’s room for improvement in reaching out to the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
