Instead, this outlet sports a turquoise letter M on the side of the building.<\/p>\n<p>According to a Sept. 2, 2014, story in the UK&#8217;s <em>Daily Mirror<\/em>, &#8220;The move came about after officials in Arizona said the restaurant would not be allowed to open unless the corporation came up with a compromise. Strict laws in the city of Sedona state that no building is allowed to ruin the views of the state&#8217;s surrounding desert.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This is the first time a McDonald&#8217;s restaurant has opened its doors without the yellow logo, but it is not the only unusual outlet within the fast-food firm&#8217;s 30,000 branches.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The most surprising location you can find a McDonald&#8217;s,&#8221; according to the <em>Daily Mirror<\/em>, &#8220;would be the one located within notorious detention camp Guantanamo Bay. Surrounded by barbed wire, it doesn&#8217;t look particularly inviting, despite the blue skies and palm trees in the background.
