Salvation occurs in the heart and mind. A person first recognizes he or she is a sinner. Then God helps that one to see that Jesus died for those sins. With grateful heart, the person accepts Jesus as Savior.<\/p>\n

The next step is a full and complete consecration to do only God’s will. Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV), “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice<\/strong>, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind<\/strong>, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”<\/p>\n

Many say they are Christians. Some get wealthy preaching the prosperity gospel. Good works are commendable, but “he saved us –not by works of righteousness<\/strong> that we had done<\/strong>, but according to his mercy…” Titus 3:5 (CSB) So, even though people may say or act like Christians, only God know the heart. There is no technology that can make known the heart condition of a man.<\/p>\n

1 Samuel 16:7 (NKJV), “But the LORD said to Samuel, ‘Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature,… For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart<\/strong>.’”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
