Why<\/strong> would it be a sin? A sin is something that opposes God and His righteous will. How<\/strong> would taking a vaccine oppose God? <\/strong><\/p>\n

The vaccine helps people to fight a virus. That virus has already killed between 3 million to 6 million people worldwide. The vaccine is like a medicine<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The Bible encourages people to care for their health. Remember, God provided many of the Laws in the Law Covenant to help keep His children healthy. For example, if a person had leprosy, they were quarantined<\/strong> from the rest of the nation so that the disease would not spread. Leviticus 13:14, “…the priest shall shut up the diseased person for seven days<\/strong>”. (Read Leviticus 13 and 14 for all the laws to protect the nation from the spread of leprosy.)<\/p>\n

Mankind is blessed to have knowledge that helps us make vaccines. Daniel 12:4 (RSV), teaches that in “the time of the end. . . knowledge shall increase<\/strong>.” Medical advances due to the increase of knowledge have lessened our suffering. This is a great blessing from God – not a sin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Without the COVID-19 vaccine, many more people will die. For example, when the Black Death<\/strong> spread through parts of Africa, Europe, and Asia from 1346 to 1353, it caused the death of<\/strong> 75 million to 200 million<\/strong> people. There was no vaccine. It killed at least 30% and up to 60% of the European population. Seven years of suffering with millions dying.<\/strong> What a terrible plague.<\/p>\n

The COVID-19 vaccine can reduce mankind’s suffering and death<\/strong>. While it is not a perfect solution, it is still a blessing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
