All of mankind are under the curse of death as it says in 1 Corinthians 15:22,  “in Adam all die<\/strong>.”  Jesus’s sacrifice made it possible<\/strong> for all mankind to have the opportunity for everlasting life – “so in Christ all <\/strong>will be made alive,” 1 Corinthians 15:22.  <\/p>\n

Jesus promised, “He who believes in me will live even though he dies.”  This is the promise of the resurrection – that all in their graves will be raised<\/strong>, some to a resurrection of life<\/strong> and some to a resurrection of judgment<\/strong> (John 5:28).  <\/p>\n

In your question about John 11:25, Jesus is first talking about those who have attained the resurrection of life.  In other words, their Christian faithfulness<\/strong> until death in this life will be rewarded with a resurrection of everlasting life in heaven<\/strong>.  James 1:12, “Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life<\/strong>, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”<\/p>\n

Jesus continues to explain, “And whoever lives (is resurrected on earth<\/em>) and believes (during the kingdom<\/em>) in me will never die.”  (John 11:26) This verse is about the remainder of mankind<\/strong>. They will be raised to a resurrection of judgment.  This is an earthly resurrection<\/strong> during Jesus Christ’s 1,000-year kingdom when mankind will have the opportunity to learn of God and Jesus<\/strong>. They will be awakened from death and brought to a knowledge<\/strong> of the truth.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 54:13, “And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD<\/strong>; and great shall be the peace of thy children.” During this time, Joel 2:28 will be fulfilled,  “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh<\/strong>…” Joel 2:28<\/p>\n

Isaiah 11:9, “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth<\/strong> shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD<\/strong>, as the waters cover the sea.”<\/p>\n

Those who choose to believe<\/strong> in Jesus and who walk in obedience<\/strong> to his commandments may then receive human life everlasting in the kingdom.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
