Maintaining love and fidelity in marriage is certainly God's will. Preaching Christ and living righteously glorifies Him. However, if your goal is to convert the world<\/strong> or even your neighborhood through a revival<\/strong>, the scriptures teach that will not happen<\/strong>. Satan is the god of this world. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers<\/strong>, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel…”<\/strong> 2 Corinthians 4:4. We fight against the influences of the “present evil world” (Galatians 1:4), our sinful flesh \ufeff(Romans 7:18), and the devil (1 Peter 5:8). These forces will not be restrained until Christ’s reign<\/strong> on earth. “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”<\/p>\n

Jesus taught the people in parables. His disciples asked why? Why didn’t Jesus speak in plain, simple language? Jesus replied that His present mission was NOT to convert the world.<\/strong> Mark4:11-12 (NET), “He said to them, ‘The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you.<\/strong> But to those outside, everything is in parables, so that although they look they may look but not see,<\/strong> and although they hear they may hear but not understand<\/strong>, so they may not repent and be forgiven<\/strong>.’” <\/p>\n

The purpose<\/strong> of the time period between Jesus’s first advent and second advent is to call and develop His Bride. These faithful Christians are also called the Church class, the Little Flock, the body of Christ, or the “called, and chosen, and faithful”. (Revelation 17:14)<\/p>\n

When the Church is complete, then Christ will establish His earthly reign of righteousness. (Daniel 2:44)  Then most of the world will be converted. Mankind will be healed (Isaiah 35), and “they shall not hurt or destroy<\/strong> in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD<\/strong> as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:9)  <\/p>\n

“This is the covenant that I will make with them (first Israel<\/em><\/strong> will accept Jesus and <\/em>then all mankind<\/em><\/strong>; see Isaiah 2:2-4, Zechariah 12:10, and Zechariah 14:8-9<\/em>) … I will put my laws into their hearts<\/strong>, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more<\/strong>.” (Hebrews 10:16-17) Blessed promises indeed.<\/p>\n

Consecrated Christians love to preach Christ. We cannot be restrained. It is our joyful privilege. We would never discourage a message to be loving, respectful, and faithful in our marriages.
