We don’t have a description<\/strong> of Heaven in the Bible although Revelation seems to be giving one.  Revelation 1:1 (NKJV) begins, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him…And He sent and signified <\/strong>it by His angel to His servant John”.  Signified means<\/strong> the message was told in signs and symbols<\/strong>. The throne scene in Revelation 5 uses a throne symbol to teach God has a seat of power; however, the description is not literal<\/strong>. 1 John 3:2 reads, “…it has not yet been revealed<\/strong> what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”  The Apostle John was teaching us that we cannot understand <\/strong>the spirit world.<\/p>\n

Respecting the second part of your question, will God make heaven on this earth,<\/strong> we can say yes!<\/strong> God will make the Earth a place that the human race will rejoice in. As Christians, we pray for this daily: “Thy<\/strong> will <\/strong>be done on earth<\/strong> as it is in heaven<\/strong>”.<\/p>\n

Adam and Eve, in their perfection, were placed in a Garden that was so lovely – filled with everything they could want or need. We all wish we could go there!  But when they sinned, they forfeited their glorious home and were cast out of Eden. Thus it seemed that paradise was lost forever. <\/p>\n

However, God has promised He will restore Earth. At our Lord’s second advent, there will be <\/strong>“times of restitution of all things<\/strong>, which God hath spoken…” Acts 3:21. Restitution or restoration<\/strong> is the promise given to mankind as a result of Jesus’s sacrifice. And what is to be restored? That which was lost. Man lost perfect life<\/strong> as well as a home on earth <\/strong>to enjoy. <\/p>\n

Isaiah wrote about this restoration in Isaiah 35:1-2, 5-7 (NKJV), “…the desert shall rejoice and blossom <\/strong>as the rose; It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice,…Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened<\/strong>, And the ears of the deaf<\/strong> shall be unstopped.<\/strong>  Then the lame shall leap<\/strong> like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing<\/strong>. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.  The parched ground shall become a pool…” Isaiah 35:1-2, 5-7 (NKJV)<\/p>\n

Psalm 67:1-2, 6 (NKJV), “God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, Selah, that Your way may be known on earth…<\/strong>Then the earth shall yield her increase<\/strong>; God, our own God, shall bless us.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
