(Ghana)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p>When Jesus stated that &ldquo;I and my Father are one&rdquo;, he was <strong>not implying<\/strong>, as some believe, that Jesus and the Father are <strong>one and the same<\/strong>. <strong>He could not have meant that,<\/strong> because he also have stated: &ldquo;That<strong> they<\/strong> <strong>all may be one<\/strong>; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that<strong> they also may be one in us,<\/strong>&rdquo; John 17:21.<strong> &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These two verses prove there are things that the Father knows that the <strong>Son does not know.<\/strong> The first verse of the book of Revelation also states the same concept: &ldquo;The <strong>revelation of Jesus<\/strong> Christ, which <strong>God gave unto him<\/strong>&hellip;&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Revelation 5:1-14 teaches this in pictorial language. In this vision, we see Jesus as a Lamb that had been slain. He was found <strong>worthy<\/strong> to <strong>open a sealed book<\/strong> that contained <strong>God&rsquo;s plans for the future<\/strong>. The implication is that you also need to be found <strong>worthy<\/strong> if you want to understand the book, the Bible, which is in God&rsquo;s hand.&nbsp; The &ldquo;book was <strong>written within and on the backside<\/strong>&rdquo; meaning there are two ways of reading the book. There is an <strong>outer meaning to the words written<\/strong>, and there is also an<strong> inner meaning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus proved worthy when he faithfully lived and died in sacrifice. Now, <strong>only those begotten of the holy Spirit<\/strong> have the ability to read the inner meaning and to<strong> understand any scripture<\/strong> in the Bible. 1 Corinthians 2:14, <strong>&ldquo;<\/strong>The person <strong>without the Spirit<\/strong> does<strong> not accept <\/strong>the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and <strong>cannot understand them <\/strong>because they are <strong>discerned only through the Spirit<\/strong>.&rdquo; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Simply put, Jesus was trying to get across the idea that He and his Father were of<strong> the same spirit, the same attitude, the same purpose. <\/strong>Jesus&nbsp; stated plainly: John 14:28,<strong> &ldquo;<\/strong>my<strong> Father is greater than I<\/strong>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When Jesus stated that &ldquo;I and my Father are one&rdquo;, he was not implying, as some believe, that Jesus and the Father are one and the same.
