Yet St. Paul writes, &ldquo;<strong>there is<\/strong> <strong>one God, the Father,<\/strong> of whom are all things,&rdquo; 1 Corinthians 8:6. Jesus declared, &ldquo;the Father is <strong>greater<\/strong> I,&rdquo; John 14:28. The Father raised his Beloved Son from the dead, and <strong>exalted him on high<\/strong>, honored him, and has appointed him a Kingdom. Ultimately the Son will deliver up the Kingdom again to the Father. 1Corinthians 15:24,28 (NKJV), &ldquo;Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power&hellip;Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the <strong>Son Himself will also be subject to Him<\/strong> who put all things under Him, that <strong>God may be all in all<\/strong>.&rdquo; Therefore, it cannot be true that there are <strong>several Gods of equal power<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our Lord Jesus Christ is <strong>a God<\/strong>, a mighty being. But while he is to be honored even as the Father is honored, and that in honoring him we honor the Father who exalted him, still there is but one Almighty God, the Father of all. As the Apostle declares, &ldquo;The <strong>head<\/strong> of the woman is the man, the <strong>head<\/strong> of man is Christ, and the <strong>head<\/strong> of Christ is God.&rdquo; 1 Corinthians 11:3.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If there are three Gods, &ldquo;equal in power and in glory,&rdquo; as the catechisms declare, then it is untrue to say there is only one God.
