There are only twelve verses in the Bible, specifically in the Gospels, where Mary&nbsp;Magdalene&nbsp;is mentioned by name. Mark 16:9 (KJV,) &quot;Now when Jesus&nbsp;was risen&nbsp;early the first day of the week,<strong>&nbsp;he appeared first to Mary Magdalene<\/strong>, out of whom he had&nbsp;<strong>cast seven devils<\/strong>.&quot; After His resurrection, the&nbsp;Lord greatly&nbsp;<strong>honored her devotion<\/strong>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<strong>appearing first to her<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining verses also mention she had demon possession or else they simply state she was at a location. Other than this, we know little about her. However, we may be sure she was not a relative of Jesus nor did Jesus have an unholy relationship with her.
