When Jesus was born, he was only and fully a perfect man. Nowhere in the Bible does it teach that Jesus was part god and part man.<\/p>\n<p>Hebrews 10:5-10, &quot;Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: &ldquo;Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But <strong>a body You have prepared for Me<\/strong>. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, &lsquo;Behold, I have come&mdash;In the volume of the book it is written of Me&mdash;To do Your will, O God.&rsquo; &rdquo; Previously saying, &ldquo;Sacrifice and&hellip; offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them&rdquo; (which are offered according to the law), then He said, &ldquo;Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.&rdquo; He takes away the first (law covenant) that He may establish the second (new covenant). By that will we have been sanctified <strong>through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ<\/strong> once for all.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>When Jesus came to earth, he was a perfect human being just as Adam was.&nbsp; He became human so that he could become a substitute for Adam (1 Corinthians 15:21) and thereby redeem the whole human race. 1 Timothy 2:5,6 (NKJV), &quot;For there is <strong>one God<\/strong> and <strong>one Mediator between God and men<\/strong>, the <strong>Man Christ Jesus<\/strong>, who gave Himself a ransom for all&hellip;&quot;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hebrews 2:14, &quot;Forasmuch then as the <strong>children are partakers of flesh and blood<\/strong>, he also <strong>himself likewise took part of the same<\/strong>; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.&quot; It is because Jesus faithfully sacrificed His will and His human body, that God raised Jesus to life immortal &#8211; which was beyond the life he previously had.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before Jesus came to earth, He was the Logos. John 1:14, &quot;And the Word (<em>Logos in Greek<\/em>) <strong>became flesh <\/strong>and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the <strong>only begotten of the Father<\/strong>, full of grace and truth.&quot; (Also John 3:16 KJV). But the Logos was never equal with God nor was He God. He was God&#039;s first and only directly begotten Son. After God begat the Logos, the Logos became God&#039;s master builder. John 1:3, &quot;<strong>All things were made through Him<\/strong>, and without Him nothing was made that was made.&quot;&nbsp; (See also Proverbs 8:22-31.)<\/p>\n<p>However, God is and will forever be the great Author of His plan and of all creation. 1 Corinthians 8:6 (NKJV), &quot;there is <strong>one God<\/strong>, the Father, <strong>of whom<\/strong> are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord <strong>Jesus<\/strong> Christ, <strong>through whom <\/strong>are all things, and through whom we live.<em>&quot;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We will define godhood as the state of being a god, just as manhood is the state of being a man.
