“Don’t worry<\/strong> about anything; instead, pray about everything<\/strong>. Tell God what you need, and thank him<\/strong> for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace<\/strong>, which exceeds anything we can understand. His<\/strong> peace will guard your hearts and minds<\/strong> as you live in Christ Jesus,” Philippians 4:6,7 (NLT).<\/p>\n

These are wonderful, comforting scriptures. The Apostle Paul is instructing us how<\/strong> to keep our hearts and minds at rest. First, don’t worry! Instead tell God about all of your problems<\/strong>. Ask Him to overrule in all the situations. Remember to always pray, “Not my will but Your will be done<\/strong>” just as Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:42). Then you may rest. He is in charge of your life! <\/p>\n

Sometimes a problem is very, very difficult. Then “never stop praying<\/strong>,” 1 Thessalonians 5:17(NLT). God says, “I will never leave you<\/strong> nor abandon you,” Hebrews 13:5 (CSB). You may pray as much as you want. God will never turn you away.<\/p>\n

Also, watch for God’s presence <\/strong>in all the little ways God is caring for you. Jot down these experiences in a journal. Then thank God. “In everything give thanks<\/strong>,” 1 Thessalonians 5:18. God uses challenging experiences to develop our characters and our faith.<\/p>\n

Many times memorizing scriptures<\/strong> will help us to trust God’s promises. Keep the Bible in your heart. “In all things God works for the good <\/strong>of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose…If God is for us, who can be against us?<\/strong>…Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? <\/strong>Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?…For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,<\/strong> will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord<\/strong>.” Romans 8:28, 31, 33-35, 38,39 (NIV)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
