Summary:<\/em><\/strong> Jesus is the only begotten Son of God; the first and the last direct creation of God; God’s agent of all creation; mankind’s Savior from sin and death; the Head of the body of Christ; the life-giver to resurrected mankind; the Holy Son forever at God’s right hand.<\/p>\n

Explanation: <\/em><\/strong>Before time, God created the “Logos” (the “Word” in English). Revelation 22:13, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last<\/strong>.” The Logos was the first and last direct creation<\/strong> of God. He was the only being begotten by God, Himself. “…the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father<\/strong>,…” John 1:18. God as the author of creation used the Logos to be the agent of creation both in the spirit realm and in the natural universe. 1 Corinthians 8:6, “…there is but one God, the Father, of <\/strong>whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by<\/strong> whom are all things, and we by him.” John 1:2,3, “The same was in the beginning <\/strong>with God. All things were made by him<\/strong>; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”<\/p>\n

When God planned man’s creation, He desired our willing worship and love<\/strong>. However, God knew that by endowing the perfect man, Adam, with free-will, that Adam would unwisely fall to temptation and chose sin over righteousness. Therefore, even before the creation of earth, God planned for man’s redemption. The Logos agreed to be born as the perfect man, Jesus<\/strong>, and to die as a ransom for Adam and all of his children. Thereby, all people were redeemed by the “precious blood of Christ<\/strong>, as of a lamb<\/strong> without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained<\/strong> before the foundation of the world<\/strong>” 1 Peter 1:19, 20.<\/p>\n

During His first advent, Jesus was begotten by the holy spirit to a new spirit life<\/strong>. Because He was faithful unto death, He was resurrected as a divine being with “all power …in heaven and in earth,<\/strong>” Matthew 28:18. Jesus also invited a little flock of believers to follow in self-sacrifice, suffering and obedience. These too are  begotten to a new life and they are developed into Christ-likeness in character (2 Peter 1:3-8). Jesus is the head of His foot-step followers. Colossians 1:18, “he is the head of the body<\/strong>, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all <\/strong>things<\/strong> he might have the preeminence<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

During Jesus’ second advent, He will resurrect all mankind. John 5:28, 29. He will establish God’s kingdom on earth and will restore (Acts 3:19-21) all that was lost when Adam fell. Then “the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father (life-giver<\/em>), The Prince of Peace, of the increase of <\/strong>his<\/strong> government and peace <\/strong>there shall be<\/strong> no end…<\/strong>” Isaiah 9:6.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
