Will all Christians (the devoted and the backsliders) receive the same reward in heaven?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p>First, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 15:50), and therefore anyone who is in Heaven does not have a fleshly body (of the earth, earthy). They have celestial or spirit bodies. God, Jesus, and angels are spirit beings. John 4:24, &ldquo;God is spirit.&rdquo; 1 Peter 3:18, &ldquo;Christ&hellip;having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>We know very little about the heavenly realms. The scriptures teach that God, Jesus, and the Church are divine in nature (2 Peter 1:4). Additionally, the angels are divided into seraphim (Isaiah 6:2), cherubim (Ezekiel 10:21, 1 Kings 6:27), and the archangel Michael (Jude 1:9).<strong> More information is not revealed<\/strong> because apparently <strong>that knowledge is not useful<\/strong> for us. &ldquo;&hellip;He has given us everything necessary for life and righteousness, through the knowledge of Him&rdquo; &#8211; Christ Jesus. (2 Peter 1:3 BBE)<\/p>\n<p>Do all Christians receive the <strong>same reward in Heaven? No.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>True worshippers&nbsp;&#8211; the <strong>Church<\/strong> of Christ (those faithful unto death, Revelation 2:10) will receive the <strong>divine nature<\/strong> (2 Peter 2:4) and <strong>sit on thrones<\/strong> (Luke 22:30). <strong>Another group will stand before the heavenly throne<\/strong> and have palms in their hands (Revelation 7:9). These Christians needed to experience &ldquo;great tribulation&rdquo; in order to wash their robes &ldquo;in the blood of the Lamb.&rdquo; (Revelation 7:14) <strong>Others will not be admitted into heaven<\/strong>. As Jesus said, &ldquo;&hellip;I will profess unto them, I never know you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.&rdquo; (Matthew 7:23)<\/p>\n<p>But some may wonder about 2 Corinthians 12:2: &ldquo;I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago&mdash;whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows&mdash;such a man was caught up to the <strong>third heaven<\/strong>.&rdquo; The concept of heaven can also refer to <strong>spiritual<\/strong> <strong>governing authority<\/strong>. 2 Peter 3:5,7,13 teach there are three heavens associated with three worlds.
