In this day and age, so many things are seen as permissible and perceived as “individual rights”.  To say something contrary is seen as being prejudiced and closed minded.  The Bible however is very straightforward and clear on some subjects.<\/p>\n

“A woman shall not wear man’s clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman’s clothing<\/strong>; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD<\/strong> your God.” Deuteronomy 22:5 (NASB)<\/p>\n

It is difficult when someone we love acts in a way that is contrary to what the scriptures dictate.  When there is “Thus sayeth the Lord”, we must stand by what the LORD tells us.  By the same token, we must remember that we are all sinful and therefore we have love for other sinners<\/strong>, but <\/strong>we must hate sin<\/strong>.  We can love a sinner by “speaking the truth in love<\/strong>” (Ephesians 4:15), showing them respect and praying for them (1 Timothy 2:1).  At the same time,  we must hate sin by refusing to condone, ignore, or excuse it<\/strong>. Romans 6:1,2 tells us “…Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
