God does not show favoritism. “…God shows no partiality<\/strong>. But in every nation, anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him..” Acts 10:34, 35 (ESV). They likewise teach us to be the same in our dealings with others (Proverbs 24:23; 28:21).  <\/p>\n

God desires that all men would come to a full discernment of Truth that they might know Christ. “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth<\/strong>. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time<\/strong>,” 1 Timothy 2:3-6. Thereby each man will be able to show his desire, through Jesus, to obey the will of God—the only way that one can be eternally “saved” (Ephesians 2:7, 8).  <\/p>\n

God's salvation of men is not such as will conflict with their freedom of will <\/strong>or their liberty of choice (Deuteronomy 30:19; Joshua 24:15; James 2:12).  This liberty of choice is a part of man's original endowment.  In the Millennial Age (the 1000 year “Day of the Lord”), all the world will be invited to share the favors then offered, on the conditions then made known to all. “…with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise… but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance<\/strong>.” (2 Peter 3:8,9.) Whosoever will may come and drink at life’s fountain freely. Revelation 22:17, “…whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life<\/strong>.”  <\/p>\n

During that “day”, God will leave all judgment to His Son, our Redeemer Jesus (John 5:22-29; Matthew 16:27; Acts17:31).  Furthermore, the Lord says, “In those days, they shall say no more, the fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge, but every one <\/p>\n

[who dies] shall die for his own iniquity.” (Jeremiah 31:29, 30; Ezekiel 18:20)  This is not the case now.  Each does not now die for his own sin, but for Adam's sin—“In Adam all die.” (1 Corinthians 15:22, 23) “For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye<\/strong>.” (Ezekiel 18:32)  <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
