{"id":37163,"date":"2022-09-13T13:26:54","date_gmt":"2022-09-13T18:26:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.biblia.work\/sermons\/what-do-we-get-judged-upon-on-judgment-day\/"},"modified":"2022-09-13T13:26:54","modified_gmt":"2022-09-13T18:26:54","slug":"what-do-we-get-judged-upon-on-judgment-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.biblia.work\/sermons\/what-do-we-get-judged-upon-on-judgment-day\/","title":{"rendered":"What do we get judged upon on  Judgment day?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p>The Bible clearly teaches that &ldquo;&#8230; we shall <strong>all stand <\/strong>before the judgment seat of Christ&rdquo; (Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10) However, it is the <strong>church that is being judged at the present<\/strong> time, while the world of <strong>mankind will be judged at the close of the Millennium<\/strong> after they have been instructed in righteousness, or &ldquo;<strong>learned righteousness<\/strong>&rdquo; (Isaiah 26:9).&nbsp; Then the great throne scene takes place &ldquo;And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is <\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 fusion-flex-container hundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\" style=\"background-position: center center;border-width: 0px 0px 0px 0px;border-color:#eae9e9;border-style:solid\">\n<div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row fusion-flex-align-items-flex-start\" style=\"width:calc( 100% + 0px ) !important;max-width:calc( 100% + 0px ) !important;margin-left: calc(-0px \/ 2 );margin-right: calc(-0px \/ 2 )\">\n<div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-0 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column fusion-flex-align-self-flex-start fusion-column-no-min-height\">\n<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px\">[the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.&rdquo; (Revelation 20:12) &ldquo;&#8230;Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness&#8230; God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ&hellip;&rdquo; (Romans 2:16)<\/p>\n<p>So, what are those works and secrets recorded in that book of life? If we judge ourselves (1 Corinthians 11:31-32), we might determine if we are meeting the goal of pleasing God through our prayers, works and personal conduct.<\/p>\n<p>While not complete, the following list offers some suggestions for those <strong>who are part of Christ&rsquo;s church<\/strong>: Did we <strong>manifest the Lord&#039;s spirit<\/strong>? (I Corinthians 12; Romans 12; Ephesians 4:1-32, 5:1-33). Did we <strong>endure temptation<\/strong>? (James 1:12) Did we <strong>spread the gospel<\/strong>? (Matthew 28:18-20) Did we demonstrate <strong>humility<\/strong>? (1 Peter 5:2-5) Did we <strong>control our tongues<\/strong>? (James 3:1-9) Did we <strong>use opportunities<\/strong> wisely? (Romans 2; Hebrews 2:1-4; Galatians 5:1-26, 6:1-10, Colossians 3) Did we remain &ldquo;<strong>steadfast and immoveable<\/strong>; abounding in the work of the Lord&rdquo;? (1 Corinthians 15:58) Did we <strong>labor in love<\/strong>? (Hebrews 6:10) Did we demonstrate <strong>victory over sin<\/strong>? (Romans 6:1-4) Did we honestly <strong>seek the truth<\/strong> and reject evil? (Romans 2) Did we follow the <strong>Golden Rule<\/strong>? (Luke 6:31; Matthew 18) Did we demonstrate <strong>faith <\/strong>as overcomers? (I John 5:4) Did we cultivate the <strong>disposition of love<\/strong>? (1 Corinthians 13)<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;&#8230; For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is <strong>Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation<\/strong> gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man&rsquo;s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man&rsquo;s work of what sort it is. If any man&rsquo;s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
