No one will miss Christ’s second presence – sinners or not! When Christ reigns, it’s going to be a wonderful and glorious time. John 5:28, 29 (ESV) tell us, “…for the hour is coming in the which all<\/strong> that are in the graves shall hear his voice and come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation (Greek is “judgment” not damnation).”  Every single man, woman, and child who have ever lived will be resurrected!<\/p>\n

John 5:29 explains that those who did good (only forgiven and saved Christians can do good) will receive a heavenly resurrection of life. The rest of mankind will be resurrected to judgment. What will that judgment period look like? The thousand year judgment day will be a period of forgiveness, education, and physical\/mental healing leading to perfection.<\/p>\n

Isa. 26:9, “when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.” All of Psalm 98 especially verses 6-9, “…make a joyful noise before the King, the LORD!…the world and those who dwell in it! Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together before the LORD, for he come to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness.”<\/p>\n

Jere. 31:33-35, “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel (and ultimately the whole world) after those days (of Armageddon), declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother saying ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”<\/p>\n

Isa. 35:5, 6, 10, “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped; then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing…And the ransomed (Jesus was the ransom for all) of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with songs; and everlasting joy upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”<\/p>\n

Drinking alcohol is not a sin. Drunkenness and alcoholism are sins. (Eph. 5:18) If you can’t stop at one drink, you are in danger of becoming an alcoholic. You will be healthier, happier, and obedient if you stop drinking in excess. However, even if a person is overcome by sins of drunkenness, he will still be resurrected when Christ reigns on earth. Then he will have the opportunity to stop drinking, to have  his body healed, and to be forgiven and learn righteousness. And all sorrow and sighing will flee away as things of the past.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
