The scriptures tell us about the qualities of both good and bad leaders. The best leaders are servants to others and examples of Christ-like behavior. Consider the following scriptures:<\/p>\n

Mat 23:10-12  "Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is,<\/em> Christ. But the greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.”<\/p>\n

Act 20:28  "Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.”<\/p>\n

1Pe 5:2-3 “… shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of<\/em> God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock.”<\/p>\n

Tit 1:7  “An elder is a manager of God’s household, so he must live a blameless life. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered; he must not be a heavy drinker, violent, or dishonest with money.” (NLT)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
