This episode caused him to examine his life, looking for opportunities to repent and depart from ways displeasing to God, yielding and submitting to God. These insecurities and dangers are good for us when we consider the behavior changes they bring about, as in the cases of Jonah and Joseph. As we confess our insecurities and inadequacies before God, we will receive help to get through our trials and tests, shaping our character in a positive direction, after the template of Jesus Christ rather than any other human being. We must trust God’s faithfulness and timing, even when circumstances seem to work against us. <\/p>\n
