Similar willing sacrifices were offered by David, Deborah, and Barak. All of them saw God in the giving of the sacrifice. God praises the attitude of giving and not expecting anything in return. Jesus Christ was willing to empty His God status, sacrificing Himself as a lowly human being while we were yet sinners. For the sons of God, there should be no such thing as an unwilling sacrifice. Unwilling Christianity is not Christianity.
