In contrast to a secret rapture supposition, I Thessalonians 4:13 describes Jesus Christ’s return to be accompanied by a shout of an Archangel and a trumpet blast. At that time, the dead in Christ will rise first, followed by an instant transformation occurring within a twinkling of an eye at the Last Trumpet (I Corinthians 15:52). This event takes place after the three woes which make up the 4th 5th and 6th Trumpets. None of these events, including the Gentiles’ trampling on Jerusalem for 42 months and the time of Jacob’s Trouble. will take place "in a corner." Currently, 57 Islamic nations, angered by America’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and led by Turkey’s Erdo&#287an, have confederated for the purpose of destroying the State of Israel. Though the time of Christ’s return appears to be soon in the light of those events, God alone knows the exact time.
