PROPOSITION:<\/strong> To set forth shameful living and how the Christian should live a shameLESS life.<\/p>\n

OBJECTIVE:<\/strong> To shame those in sin to repentance and encourage those who are faithful.<\/p>\n

INTRODUCTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Read: Philippians 3:18-19.<\/p>\n

2. Regarding the text<\/p>\n

1) Walking is a figure of living.<\/p>\n

2) Many, the vast and overwhelming majority.<\/p>\n

3) Weeping, see the deep concern for all who are lost.<\/p>\n

4) Enemies, but Jesus came to bring peace, Ephesians 2:14-18.<\/p>\n

5) Their end is PERDITION!!!<\/p>\n

6) Their god is their belly, their lusts.<\/p>\n

7) Whose glory is their shame.<\/p>\n

8) These people “mind earthly things.”<\/p>\n

DISCUSSION:<\/strong> Let us consider …<\/p>\n

I.   The attitude of the transgressor.<\/p>\n

1. Psalm 36:1-2.<\/p>\n

3. They “mind earthly things.”<\/p>\n

4. They are covetous, Ephesians 5:5.<\/p>\n

5. They are enemies of the cross of Christ, Proverbs 30:20.<\/p>\n

3. Some people are ashamed, but will not listen or repent, John 3:19.<\/p>\n

4. Some people will not accept POSITIVE discipline.<\/p>\n

5. Some people will not accept NEGATIVE discipline.<\/p>\n
