Read: Philippians 3:18-19.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">2. Regarding the text<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">1) Walking is a figure of living.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">2) Many, the vast and overwhelming majority.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">3) Weeping, see the deep concern for all who are lost.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">4) Enemies, but Jesus came to bring peace, Ephesians 2:14-18.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">5) Their end is PERDITION!!!<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">6) Their god is their belly, their lusts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">7) Whose glory is their shame.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">8) These people &#8220;mind earthly things.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">3. Reference to Subject, Title, Proposition and Objective.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ser\"><strong>DISCUSSION:<\/strong> Let us consider &#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"d1\">I.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The attitude of the transgressor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">1. Psalm 36:1-2.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">2. &#8220;Their god is their belly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">3. They &#8220;mind earthly things.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">4. They are covetous, Ephesians 5:5.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">5. They are enemies of the cross of Christ, Proverbs 30:20.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d1\">II.&nbsp;&nbsp;Sinners pride.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">1. 1 Corinthians 5:2 and 6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">2. Proverbs 16:18.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">3. Mark 7:21-23.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">4. 1 John 2:15-16.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">5. 1 Corinthians 4:6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">6. &#8220;Whose glory is their shame.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"d1\">III.&nbsp;New Testament Discipline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">1. Whose business is it anyway, what I do?<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1) Proverbs 4:23.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2) Proverbs 12:1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">3) Proverbs 15:32-33.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">4) Proverbs 17:10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">5) Hebrews 13:17.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">6) 1 Peter 5:1-4, 6-7.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">2. Motive of discipline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1) Acts 5:11.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2) 1 Corinthians 5:4-5.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">3) 1 Corinthians 13:1-8.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">3. The action of discipline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1) Must use good judgment and great discernment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2) Matthew 18:15-17.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">3) 2 Thessalonians 3:6, 14-15.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">4) Romans 16:17.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ser\"><strong>CONCLUSION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">1. We have considered:<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">1) The attitude of the transgressor;<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">2) Sinners pride; and<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">3) New Testament discipline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">2. Some people are proud of their shameful deeds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">3. Some people are ashamed, but will not listen or repent, John 3:19.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">4. Some people will not accept POSITIVE discipline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">5. Some people will not accept NEGATIVE discipline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">6.
