Some fundamentals: Genesis 1 &amp; 2; Creation, man placed on earth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">2. Genesis 2 &amp; 3; God&#8217;s law given, and man in violation of that law.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">3. Man, then, in sin &#8212; separated from God (Gen. 2:17). Man in death!<\/p>\n<h2>DISCUSSION: (Discussion of this sermon on a savior.)<\/h2>\n<h3>I. &nbsp;&nbsp;Man In Sin! Immediately, God Purposed a Redemption!<\/h3>\n<p class=\"d2\">A. Note: Fully in keeping with His love, mercy (Eph. 2:4).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">B. He did not make man for condemnation &#8212; desires that man be saved (1 Tim. 2:3-4).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">C. It should surprise no one that the terms will be set forth by God, for man could not save himself!<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">D. There, in the garden (Gen. 3:15), seed of woman, receiving a hurt, but <strong>Himself<\/strong> rendering a blow to the head of Satan\/sin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1. Seed of woman &#8212; the Christ.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2. This early promise of a savior!<\/p>\n<h3>II. &nbsp;That Promise Of A Savior Kept Alive During The Course of Old Testament History.<\/h3>\n<p class=\"d2\">A. Genesis 12:1ff. Call of Abraham.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1. A nation to come from him, but why?<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2. <em>&#8220;In thee all families of earth to be blessed&#8221;<\/em> (Gen. 12:3).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">B. God purposed that His Son be ushered into the world through a line faithful to Him, and whereby He could be identified.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1. That line, through Judah: a lawgiver to come (Gen. 49:10).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2. That line, through David: <em>&#8220;Thy seed &#8230; his kingdom&#8221;<\/em> (2 Sam. 7:12-13).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">3. <em>&#8220;Unto us, a child born, a son given&#8221;<\/em> (Isa. 9:6).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">4. SUM: To Him give all the prophets witness (Acts 10:43).<\/p>\n<h3>III. That Plan Involved, Remember, A Death-Blow To Satan \/ Sin.<\/h3>\n<p class=\"d2\">A. <strong>As To Satan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1. <em>&#8220;Now shall the prince of this world be cast out&#8221;<\/em> (John 12:31).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2. The Son of God manifested, to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">B. <strong>As To Sin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1. Sin separated man and God (Gen. 2:17; Isa. 59:1-2).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2. The promise of a savior from the Old Testament: <em>&#8220;I will remember their sin no more&#8221;<\/em> (Jer. 31:34).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">3. Jesus promised a freedom (John 8:32). <em>&#8220;If the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed&#8221;<\/em> (v. 36).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">4. Sin to reign no more: Romans 6:16.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ser\">Finally, in this sermon on a savior.<\/p>\n<h3>IV. &nbsp;The New Testament Is The Testament Concerning That Savior.<\/h3>\n<p class=\"d2\">A. The promise of Genesis 3:15 realized in fullness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">B. FOR ALL: Hence, all families of earth blessed (Gen. 12:3).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">C. The promise of a savior and the blessings now revealed to man in a message: The GOSPEL &#8212; THE GOOD NEWS!<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1. God&#8217;s power to save (Rom. 1:16).<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2. Salvation through obedient response (Mark 16:15-16).<\/p>\n<p class=\"ser\"><strong>Conclusion:<\/strong> (End of this sermon on a savior.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">1. The Savior has come, and He is seen as the Christ.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">2. There has been a death and a shedding of blood for you, made known in the gospel message.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">3.
