Written for a Wednesday night devotional.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ser\">TITLE: He shall direct thy paths.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ser\">INTRODUCTION: Read Prov. 3:5-6<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">1. &#8220;He shall direct thy paths.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">1) This is the objective.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">2) It was the objective for Noah.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">3) It was the objective for Abraham.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">4) It was the objective for Moses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">5) It was the objective for Joshua.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">6) It was the objective for David.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i2\">7) This is to be our objective.<\/p>\n<p class=\"i1\">2. How do we get from here to heaven?<\/p>\n<h2>DISCUSSION: [discussion of this sermon on proverbs 3:5-6]<\/h2>\n<p class=\"d1\">I. &nbsp;&nbsp;&#8220;Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">1. Sometimes its hard to trust knowing you might die doing it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">1) Job 13:15 &#8220;Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">2) John 21:18-19<\/p>\n<p class=\"d3\">3) Rev. 2:10<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">2. We trust him unto death knowing His great and precious promises, 2 Pet. 1:4.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d1\">II. &nbsp;&#8220;And lean not unto thine own understanding.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">1. When you dont understand and think you could do better, answer with Job, Job 38:1-4; 40:3-4; 42:1-6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">2. Prov. 14:12; Jer. 10:23<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">3. Judg. 17:6, Did what was right in his own eyes. Spent much of that history in captivity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"d1\">III. &#8220;In all thy ways acknowledge him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"d2\">1.
