Why was Moses singing to the Lord?

1) He hath triumphed gloriously, v. 1

2) He is my strength and song, v. 2

3) He is my salvation, v. 2

2. It concerns me when, at times, I lead singing and some do not sing.

3. This attitude reveals something about us. Either…

1) We don’t know what God has done for us, or…

2) We don’t care what God has done for us.

[Singing is not about perfect harmony. Colossians 3:17; 1 Peter 4:11; 1 Corinthians 4:6; Romans 14:23; 10:17.

4) No mechanical instrument, whistling, humming, hand-clapping, etc.

3. We are to come before Him with singing and praise. Psalm 100

II. WE SING TO GOD BECAUSE HE HATH TRIUMPHED GLORIOUSLY.

1. The finest example of this is a simple open grave. Matthew 28:1-6

2. Note Paul’s appeal.

1) Evidence for the salvation offered.
