Included in that companionship, is an understanding of one another&#8217;s physical, emotional and spiritual needs (1 Peter 3:7), which includes sexual intimacy (1 Corinthians 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4). When a man chooses a woman to be his wife (Genesis 6:2), she becomes the complement of himself; that which is needed to make the complete man, so the two become one (Matthew 19:6).
