Special made bracelets were distributed to participants as a reminder to live complaint-free lives. As a result, a movement was started, and millions of bracelets have been distributed all throughout the world.<\/p>\n<p>The biblical principle Do all things without complaining and disputing (Philippians 2:14 &#8211; NKJV) is an important one. Because of their constant complaining in the wilderness, ancient Israel was judged by God. As a result, they were not allowed to enter the Promised Land (Numbers 14:1-5 &#8211; NKJV; Numbers 14:26-39 &#8211; NKJV; cf. 1 Corinthians 10:10-12 &#8211; NKJV).<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s ask ourselves, &#8220;How can we learn to develop a non-complaining attitude that will please the Lord?&#8221;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By controlling our thoughts (Romans 12:2 &#8211; NKJV; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 &#8211; NKJV; Philippians 4:8-9 &#8211; NKJV), meditating on Scripture (Psalm 1:1-2 &#8211; NKJV), and remembering our blessings in Christ (Ephesians 1:3 &#8211; NKJV).<\/li>\n<li>By confessing our critical spirit and committing ourselves to obedience each time we fall short of God&#8217;s standard (1 John 1:9 &#8211; NKJV; cf. Psalm 32:5 &#8211; NKJV).<\/li>\n<li>By enlisting Gods help and the help of others (James 1:2-7 &#8211; NKJV; Colossians 1:3-12 &#8211; NKJV). As we meditate on God&#8217;s word, God will strengthen us as we depend on Him (Psalm 1:1-2 &#8211; NKJV; Proverbs 3:5-6 &#8211; NKJV).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With God&#8217;s help, daily living without complaining is not an impossible challenge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While surfing the Net not long ago, I read about a preacher who gave what seemed to be an impossible challenge to his congregation to go 21 days without complaining.
