Let&#8217;s notice each word and phrase in this beloved text and then see who &#8220;The Greatest&#8221; really is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>God  The greatest lover.<\/li>\n<li>So loved  The greatest degree.<\/li>\n<li>The world  The greatest company.<\/li>\n<li>That He gave His  The greatest act.<\/li>\n<li>Only begotten Son  <strong>The greatest gift<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>That whosoever  The greatest opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Believeth  The greatest simplicity.<\/li>\n<li>In Him  The greatest attraction.<\/li>\n<li>Should not perish  The greatest promise.<\/li>\n<li>But  The greatest difference.<\/li>\n<li>Have  The greatest certainty.<\/li>\n<li>Eternal life  The greatest possession.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Brethren and friends, God gave <strong>the greatest gift<\/strong> that was ever offered to mankind, and He still has to beg and plead with us to accept it! Let&#8217;s get our Bibles, turn to Isaiah 53, read it, and then see what kind of excuses we can make for not teaching the saving gospel of Christ to a world lost in sin.
