It is equipped with the largest digital camera ever flown in space.

The goal is to accomplish the first rigorous census of planets and determine how rare or common Earth-like planets really are. Astronomers associated with Kepler estimate that they could find dozens of such planets in so-called habitable zones suitable for life as we know it, but that it would take about four years to establish their presence.”

Brethren and friends, the NASA scientists mentioned in this article could save the U.S. taxpayer $600 million dollars if they would open the Bible and simply read the following three passages (there are other passages) from its contents:

“Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it [the earth], And spirit to those who walk on it” [the earth] (Isaiah 42:5 – NKJV – emphasis mine).

“For thus says the Lord, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain [a waste], Who formed it to be inhabited” (Isaiah 45:18 – NKJV – emphasis mine).

“God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth …. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation” (Acts 17:24-26 – NKJV – emphasis mine).

All of the above three passages simply state that any life that exists, exists solely on the earth and the earth alone (note the word “inhabited” in Isaiah 45:18 – NKJV). According to the inspired Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16 – NKJV), there are obviously no other inhabitable planets save the earth. And any life on any other planet in our universe, other than the earth, simply does not exist never has existed, and never will exist. Therefore, the $600 million dollars that NASA is spending searching for earth-like planets, is a fruitless search, resulting in a fruitless investment monies that could be more fruitfully invested in the inhabitants on planet earth (Isaiah 45:18 – NKJV).

Related Article:

Does Extraterrestrial Life Exist?

From a New York Times article dated March 6, 2009, comes the following news story headline: “Spacecraft Seeks Earth-like Planets.” Scientists have launched a Delta 2 rocket named “Kepler” the purpose being to look for tiny blips in starlight caused by planets eclipsing their suns.
