{"id":45427,"date":"2022-10-01T01:50:24","date_gmt":"2022-10-01T06:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.biblia.work\/sermons\/some-bible-abcs-bible-study\/"},"modified":"2022-10-01T01:50:24","modified_gmt":"2022-10-01T06:50:24","slug":"some-bible-abcs-bible-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.biblia.work\/sermons\/some-bible-abcs-bible-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Some Bible ABC&#039;s &#8211; Bible study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are many Scriptures we could have chosen to come up with some Bible ABCs, but the following Scriptures are sufficient:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A<\/strong> soft answer turns away wrath (Proverbs 15:1-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>B<\/strong>ut be doers of the word, and not hearers only (James 1:22-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>C<\/strong>reate in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me (Psalm 51:10-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>D<\/strong>raw near to God and He will draw near to you (James 4:8-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>E<\/strong>very good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights (James 1:17-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>F<\/strong>ear God and keep His commandments, For this is mans all (Ecclesiastes 12:13-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>G<\/strong>od is love (1 John 4:8-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>H<\/strong>onor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land (Exodus 20:12-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>I<\/strong>f you love Me, keep My commandments (John14:15-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>J<\/strong>udge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged (Matthew 7:1-2-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>K<\/strong>eep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit (Psalm 34:13-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>L<\/strong>ove one another fervently with a pure heart (1 Peter 1:22-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>M<\/strong>ake a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! (Psalm 100:1-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>N<\/strong>o one can serve two masters (Matthew 6:24-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>O<\/strong>h, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever (Psalm 107:1-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>P<\/strong>raise the LORD! (Psalm 106:1-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Q<\/strong>uit you like men, be strong (1 Corinthians 16:13-KJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>R<\/strong>emember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth (Ecclesiastes 12:1-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong>eek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near (Isaiah 55:6-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>T<\/strong>rust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>U<\/strong>nto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks (Psalm 75:1-KJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>V<\/strong>erily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3-KJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>W<\/strong>ine is a mocker, Strong drink is a brawler, And whoever is led astray by it is not wise (Proverbs 20:1-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li>[e] <strong>X<\/strong>cept ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish (Luke 13:3-KJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Y<\/strong>ou are My friends if you do whatever I command you (John 15:14-NKJV).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Z<\/strong>ion hears and is glad (Psalm 97:8-NKJV).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The above ABC format, is an excellent method\/tool in motivating children to learn and memorize the Scriptures.
