We often hear it said that Diamonds are forever. In fact, there was a James Bond film by that title produced in 1971. However, to God, there is something <strong>far more valuable than diamonds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Psalmist David marveled at the great value God set on human beings when he stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor<\/strong> (Psalm 8:4-5-NKJV).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Even as sinful human beings, God still places a high value on each one of us (Matthew 16:26-NKJV; cf. Psalm 49:6-8-NKJV). So high a value, that it cost Him dearly to buy our redemption. The purchase price being the precious blood of His Son (1 Peter 1:18-19-NKJV; cf. Hebrews 9:11-12-NKJV; Ephesians 1:7-NKJV).<\/p>\n<p>If God places such a high value on us, should we not also place a high value on people who havent heard the saving gospel of Christ?
