Think of the following example: Moses escaped death as a child (Exodus 1-2-NKJV), was educated as a prince (Exodus 2:10-NKJV; cf. Hebrews 11:24-NKJV), was the instrument through which God worked miracles (Exodus 4:1-9-NKJV; Exodus 7:1-18-NKJV), and received the Ten Commandments on tablets of stone (Exodus 31:12-18-NKJV; Exodus 32:1-16-NKJV).<\/p>\n<p>These are exciting story elements that are designed to teach children about Gods dealings with man.<\/p>\n<p>Biblical stories have been shared with children for generations  all the way back to the times recorded in Exodus (cf. Exodus 12-13-NKJV); as well as Deuteronomy 6-NKJV), where Moses described times when children were to be retold vital stories from Jewish history.<\/p>\n<p>During this New Year &#8211; 2010, lets set aside a time each day to read Bible stories to our children and grandchildren, passing these stories from generation to generation (cf. Deuteronomy 6:1-7-NKJV; Psalm 78:1-8-NKJV).<\/p>\n<p>And while were at it, lets put a little animation into our story telling, and then watch their excitement as biblical history comes alive!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Children need not be bored by Bible history.
