Today, there are baby boomers who purchase old automobiles similar to the ones they once owned and loved back in the 50s, 60s and 70s, and restore them. In order to accomplish the restoration of these classics, they search for classic automobile parts online, as well as phone or email junkyards nationwide.<\/p>\n
Some would call their efforts frivolous a waste of time and money. But like a lot of other things, the value of a car is in the eye of the beholder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In Luke 15-NKJV, we read about some of the “throw-a-ways” of first century society some publicans and sinners who came to hear Jesus. But some religious leaders complained, This Man receives sinners and eats with them (Luke 15:2).<\/p>\n To affirm how valuable these sinners were to God, Jesus told three memorable stories about a lost sheep (Luke 15:4-7), a lost coin (Luke 15:8-10), and a lost son (Luke 15:11-32-NKJV).<\/p>\n Each parable records the anguish of losing<\/strong>, the effort of searching<\/strong>, and the joy of finding<\/strong> something of great value. In every story, we see a picture of our loving heavenly Father who rejoices<\/strong> over every lost soul who is found<\/strong> we are still highly valued<\/strong> in His eyes (Luke 15:6-7; cf.
