An old man was once asked what had robbed him of joy the most in his lifetime. He replied, Things that never happened!<\/p>\n
Brethren, we don’t have to be robbed of our joy, for the Scriptures tell us that:<\/p>\n
1)<\/strong> God loves us<\/strong> (John 3:16; Romans 5:8), therefore we should never fret<\/strong> (Psalm 37:1-5 KJV).<\/p>\n 2)<\/strong> God leads us and holds us<\/strong> (Psalm 139:10, therefore we should never faint<\/strong> (2 Corinthians 4:14-16 KJV).<\/p>\n 3)<\/strong> God keeps us<\/strong> (Psalm 121:5), therefore we should never fear<\/strong> (1 John 4:18 KJV).<\/p>\n Therefore, like Paul, let us “Rejoice in the Lord always” (Philippians 4:4 ESV).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" An old man was once asked what had robbed him of joy the most in his lifetime.
