A marriage may be “made in heaven” but its maintenance must be done on earth. A wife once said of her husband, “It takes both of us to take out the garbage. I can’t carry it, and my husband can’t remember it.”<\/p>\n
Marriage is a man and woman pulling together, not in competition with one another, but having mutual love and respect for one another.<\/p>\n
Being happily married is dependent on the continued “maintenance” of the marriage relationship.<\/p>\n
