I&#8217;ve added appropriate Scriptures and article links:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prayer is not a &#8220;spare wheel&#8221; that we pull out when in trouble; it is a &#8220;steering wheel&#8221; that directs us in the right path throughout life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Have we ever wondered why a car&#8217;s windshield is so large and the rear view mirror is so small? Because our past is not as important as our future. So, let&#8217;s look ahead and move on (Philippians 3:13-14).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Friendship is like a book. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>All things in life are temporary (2 Corinthians 4:18). If going well, enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong, don&#8217;t worry, they can&#8217;t last long either.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Old friends are like gold! New friends are diamonds! If we get a diamond, let&#8217;s not forget the gold! Because to hold a diamond, we always need a base of gold!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, &#8220;Relax, it&#8217;s just a bend, not the end! (cf. Job 1-2; Job 42).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>When God solves our problems, we have faith in His abilities; when God doesn&#8217;t solve our problems <strong>He has faith in our abilities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A blind person once asked a wise man: &#8220;Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?&#8221; He replied: &#8220;Yes, losing your vision.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>When we pray for others, God listens to us and blesses them; and sometimes, when we are safe and happy, remember that <strong>someone has prayed for us<\/strong> (Acts 12:5; Philippians 1:1-4; Colossians 1:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 1:1-3.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Worrying does not take away tomorrows troubles; it takes away today&#8217;s peace (cf. Matthew 6:34; John 14:27; Ephesians 2:13-14; Philippians 4:6-7).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> Pray for love and peace to fill the coming years (Philippians 4:7; Colossians 3:15).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Brethren and friends, <strong>let&#8217;s think<\/strong> about the above tidbits of wisdom in light of Scripture!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning, I received the following tidbits of wisdom from one of my Christian friends via email.
