In Deuteronomy 31-32, God instructs Moses to teach a new generation of Israelites a song that proclaimed Gods faithfulness, but it would also become a witness against them when they settled in the Promised Land and forsook Him (Deuteronomy 31:21).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The songs purpose was twofold:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> It would show the Israelites that God had a right to their love (Deuteronomy 32:7-14).
