The story is told of a man who was painting the inside of an elderly lady’s house. In her house, she had a family Bible prominently displayed on the coffee table and remarked to the man that the Bible was 116 years old a priceless heirloom.<\/p>\n
The man commented on how remarkable that was, and then added, It doesnt matter how old the Bible might be, its whats on the inside that matters.<\/p>\n
The lady immediately replied, Oh, I know. That sure is the truth. Why, we have family records, births, marriages and deaths that go so far back recorded in that Bible; why, we could never replace them.<\/p>\n
To this woman, the physical contents was all that mattered.<\/p>\n
