Acts 14:19-22; 1 Thessalonians 3:1-8; 2 Timothy 3:10-14).

Lets ask ourselves the following five questions and note the answer which follows each one:

1) Do I want to make my nation and world a better place in which to live in 2013?

It all begins with me.

2) Do I want to have a more fiscally responsible government in 2013?

It all begins with me.

3) Do I want my children and grandchildren to grow up in a godless society or a godly society in 2013?

It all begins with me.

4) Do I want to have my children and grandchildren grow up to be responsible adults in 2013?

It all begins with me.

5) Do I want the Lords church to grow, not only numerically, but spiritually as well in 2013?

It all begins with me.

Brethren and friends, if our Lord taught anything while He was here on earth, He taught individual responsibility for our thoughts and the deeds connected to our thoughts (Mark 7:14-23; cf. 2 Corinthians 10:1-6).

Our Lord was given the responsibility by His Father to seek and to save that which was lost (Matthew 18:11; Luke 19:10).
