{"id":46502,"date":"2022-10-01T02:24:25","date_gmt":"2022-10-01T07:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.biblia.work\/sermons\/subjection-something-we-give-voluntarily-bible-study\/"},"modified":"2022-10-01T02:24:25","modified_gmt":"2022-10-01T07:24:25","slug":"subjection-something-we-give-voluntarily-bible-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.biblia.work\/sermons\/subjection-something-we-give-voluntarily-bible-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Subjection: Something We Give Voluntarily &#8211; Bible study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brother Rick Liggin, one of the writers for the &#8220;Think On These Things&#8221; publication, provides some interesting thoughts regarding 1 Corinthians 14:34-NASB, in his article entitled, &#8220;Subjection: Something We Give Voluntarily.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He correctly points out that <strong>subjection is something that both men and women should willingly and voluntarily render<\/strong> to one another and to the Lord.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The text reads:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Let the women keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but let them subject themselves, just as the Law also says<\/strong> (1 Corinthians 14:34-NASB).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Note the phrase, &#8220;<strong>subject themselves<\/strong>&#8221; in the above passage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brother Liggin ends his article by saying:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Any Christian that has a problem submitting himself to whomever the Lord requires his submission, has a problem! And his problem is not with men, but with Christ.
