The problems of life can indeed be taxing on us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Yet, as we learn to trust in the Father’s care (1 Peter 5:7), we can have the peace that not only surpasses all understanding, but also overcomes our anxiety (Philippians 4:6). We can be at rest, for we are in God’s hands.<\/p>\n
Sacred song writer Edward H. Bickersteth, beautifully summarized the wonderful peace Christians have in Christ with these descriptive words: “Peace, perfect peace, in this dark world of sin: The blood of Jesus whispers peace within.”<\/p>\n
